So sad in a dream

Although my good friend in the dream had murderous intentions towards others, I knew in my consciousness that she would not attack me. However, what I couldn't accept in this dream was that my friend appeared in such an image, and she was against the man in the dream. To me it just symbolizes fear and incomprehension, why is that? Has my subconscious hated my friends to such an extent?
